The old logo was unbalanced, and it missed it’s intended mark. For example, some of the people that I spoke to about the logo though it read “C.A.C.” because the bird looked like a “C” to most viewers.
With the logo or face of the organization out of the way, it was time to develop a standard for things like typography and color. This would aid in the creation of the promotional items needed for the center.
My goal was to increase the logo's legibility and to give its text a more prominent relationship using spacing. I wasn’t not able to change the style of the cursive A and C, but I believe the changes I did make gave the logo a more legible and contemporary look.
